When the Lord is truly the Lord of your life, Change Happens!
Expressing our faith in God in a most unique way!
Giving when you don't have it to give!
In obedience to the Lord, we turned our horse farm into a music venue sharing inspirational country music. We watch God grow it from 8 or 10 people to 300 to 500 and sometimes over 800. They came out to a horse arena with sawdust floors, no heating or air. We fed everyone with only a donation box. Never made a profit, but there was always enough to buy food for the next singing. Prayer, pledge, food, open mic, followed by a featured artist in concert. Our business was thriving when we started in 2007.
Shortly after stepping out in faith to do something for the Lord, the bottom fell out of the economy, in few years we found ourselves loosing our farm and businesses. One night in the darkest of our loses a ministry friend called and wanted to come to The Farm to minister but he needed a $500 guarantee (Normally he charged a lot more). For nine years we had featured artist coming every month without any guarantee. We NEVER offered that, but the audience and God never let us down. I felt I had to step out in faith and guarantee the $500 this one time. Keep in mind, we were losing everything and $500 might as well have been $5,000 or $500,000. I said OK, Lord I am trusting you. When I told my wife what I had committed to, she blew a top! (I may have also, if it were reversed). Where do you think we are going to get $500. ; What were you thinking . . . I said " God will provide". (I had no idea what was going to happen). I just knew I had to trust God. The night of the singing, the crowd was filling the place, music was playing and people were getting in line to fellowship while making their way to the front of the food line. A man came to Denise presenting her with an envelope (That had never happened before) asking her to give this to Mike. He could have found me, I was always very visible and Denise was always busy in the Kitchen area, But God sent him to my wife. She located me on the far side of the arena and brought the envelope to me saying Johnny (one of the regulars) handed her this and ask her to give it to me. I told Denise to open it, she did and there was a check for $500. This happened in 2016 and I have not shared this publicly until today. The same feeling I had then, the knowing I had to be obedient is the same feeling I had today . . . Someone reading this needs to hear it. Denise and I are both very private people and don't like to share our personal ups and downs, but when God tugs at our hearts to do something, we must. Lord direct the path and send this message to those who need to hear it. Amen.

Get past that gravel truck now!!!
While driving a busy 4 lane interstate through Tulsa, Ok one day. I felt the sudden urge, some may say a gut feeling, I know it as the still quit voice of the holy spirit. He said get past that gravel truck now!!! Without hesitation I floored it and as soon as I did I looked in the rear view mirror and saw the gravel truck had rolled over on it's side, dumping all that gravel on to the small truck that was behind me. Traffic came to an immediate halt. I ran back to see if any one was in the covered truck other then the driver. Thank God no one was injured.
How often do we find ourselves saying why didn't I listen to that still quite voice? The more time we spend in His presence the better able we are to hear that quite still voice. I call this a miracle!

Marble size knot on the side of my knee disappears!
A knot about the size of a marble appeared on the side of my knee one day. It became more and more difficult to go up and down the stairs in our home. After dealing with this issue for several weeks, that still quite voice said have Denise (my wife) pray for you on this matter. She prayed and within 48 hours that knot had totally disappeared. We believe in doctors and yes we use them and sometimes God will use them and we believe HE gives them knowledge which sometimes bring relief and even cures. But only God can bring healing. Dr. Henry Harbuck said it so well when he said "Miracle or Method, God does the healing". Sometimes He uses surgeons and sometime He just speaks healing. Talk to Him today about your M or M.
